  • Iconik Hybrid Cloud Media Management: Iconik, the smart media management and collaboration hub built for the hybrid cloud, is enhancing its automation and AI capabilities to streamline content management and discovery in media libraries, with new features debuting at IBC 2024. The latest advancements include the introduction of the Automation Engine—a new no-code UI that makes it easy for anyone to build workflows and automate routine tasks. Additionally, new AI capabilities will enhance content discovery in media libraries with features such as advanced facial recognition for identifying individuals in archives and AI-driven summaries and topic extraction to help users quickly understand what’s in their content. Iconik is also elevating the media review and collaboration experience with a powerful new asset player and upgrading security with dynamic watermarking.

 

  • Wildmoka Digital Media Factory: Wildmoka will announce new tools designed to elevate live content production. As snackable vertical video continues to grow in popularity, Wildmoka is enhancing its toolset to support this trend. The latest updates feature a TikTok-style layout and titling, allowing users to create engaging vertical content with customizable layouts and text anchoring. Additionally, Wildmoka’s Auto ReZone technology now supports live sports by converting standard 16:9 streams into vertical formats for mobile viewing, streamlining production without the need for separate vertical and horizontal setups. The enhancements also include significant improvements to Live Studio, for live production, with the ability to create visually captivating scenes, then reuse them with just one click and the capability to seamlessly integrate remote guests into live streams.

 

  • Zype: Zype will be showcasing over 40 new innovations for video streaming in its API-driven video infrastructure platform. New capabilities include custom transcoding profiles in the Zype Streaming Platform that reduce costs, improve performance, and provide more flexibility for VOD delivery workflows for OTT distribution. Zype Playout now features dynamic blocks, enhanced timeline operation tools, and new scheduling rules that allow FAST and O&O linear publishers to streamline automation of channel programming and distribution. In Zype Apps Creator, mobile and OTT app publishers can take advantage of new app design templates, a new full-screen player for audio-only streaming, and a new integration for 3rd party analytics with MediaMelon and NPAW.

 

  • Enhanced Collaboration Tools: Backlight’s suite includes new features for Celtx, ftrack, and cineSync, designed to accelerate creative workflows, enhance project management, and improve collaboration. This includes new creative integrations and powerful ways to automate with ftrack, a new cineSync iOS app, and the launch of Celtx’s Premier Pro integration.
