Companies Host an Invitation-Only VIP Evening and a Public Event
SOUTHLAKE, Texas — Sept. 18, 2018 — ProSource — the largest audio, video, and integration buying group in the country — today announced the collaboration of Pro member World Wide Stereo and Vendor partner Focal, who hosted two invitation-only For the Love of Music events for VIP customers on Thursday, Sept. 13, and a public event on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania store location.
The Focal leadership team joined the staff of World Wide Stereo in a celebration welcoming the iconic, Saint-Etienne, France-based hand-crafted audio brand to the store with an evening of food, drink, and music. Guests experienced the pleasure of high-fidelity from every category Focal has to offer. World Wide Stereo is the only company in the U.S. that represents Focal across the board — multimedia, home audio, and car — both online and in brick and mortar stores.
The World Wide Stereo team was invited to tour the factory over the summer and shared that experience with their guests by cycling photos of their trip on the flat panel displays in the store. The celebration reached even more World Wide Stereo customers via Facebook Live.
“Asking what makes Focal special is like asking what makes a meal prepared by Gordon Ramsey so special. It’s all about the care and detail that delivers a fine meal, or in this case the finest speakers World Wide Stereo has ever offered,” said Austin Marvel, Systems Designer at World Wide Stereo. “From the speaker cabinets to the drivers, every part is designed for one purpose — to give you the greatest musical experience you’ve ever had from a speaker.”
Bob Cole, Founder and President of World Wide Stereo added, “We wanted to celebrate our commitment to this new signature product line with a bang, and boy, this event was exactly that. In 40 years I’ve never had an event where the music itself transcended the gear. Early in the evening more than 100 people were totally immersed in the musical experience with little regard for the equipment. It was a joyful experience for me and our guests. Focal’s ability to convey the live experience is why we chose them.” Bob Cole will be inducted into the CT Hall of Fame at an awards dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Capitale in New York City.
John Bevier, National Sales and Product Manager, Audio Plus Services commented, “It’s an honor and a great pleasure partnering with the management and staff of World Wide Stereo. Rarely have I seen every single design and implementation aspect of an audio and video retailer align so powerfully, from vision to execution, all geared to delivering the finest customer experience possible.”
“Focal merges art and technology within our speakers. Through design, engineering, and manufacturing we create perfection with an expectation of how it is to be presented. World Wide Stereo are the perfect partners to portray our vision as they provide their clientele an amazing experience through their professionalism, knowledge, and expertise. This event really exemplified those key principles,” said Sanjay Sharma, North America Sales Manager, Focal North America.
