This is a weatherproof kit for housing the Bond Bridge Pro RF-to-WiFi device hub outside, moving it closer in proximity to motorized window awnings, shutters, defense/solar/shading screens, pergolas and more. The Bridge and accompanying Bond App bring consolidated control to these appliances as well as ceiling fans, and outdoor heating and air conditioning systems, and also integrates with virtual assistance and automation platforms.
Installations of these types of outdoor appliances are on the rise both commercially and residentially. The larger structures however can be comprised of aluminum which can limit the reception range of motors and fans installed within them. With Shield Pro, the Bridge can now be brought to the center of the action. The housing’s plastic construction does not interfere with RF signals, ensuring the Bridge’s 3,500 sq. foot range in any installation, regardless of the size or material of the structures. And its IP67-rating assures the Bridge is safe from the outdoor elements.
