AVPro Edge’s all-new USB 2.0 extender kit is built to handle video conferencing signals up to 100 meters using HDBaseT Technology.
Sioux Falls, S.D. – AVPro Edge, an AVPro Global Holdings company, is excited to announce an all-new product, the AC-EXUSB-2-KIT. The AVPro Edge engineering team has applied the technology used to send taxing HDMI signals to this USB extender kit. By using HDBaseT technology the USB signal is converted to a category cable, where it can be delivered long distances without interrupting dataflow. The AC-EXUSB-2-KIT will transfer USB signals with virtually zero latency up to 100 meters via standard category cable (Cat5e).
This USB extender kit comes with two parts designed in small form factor chassis; a transmitter unit (USB Host) with a Type B connection and a receiver unit with four USB Type A inputs.
With the wide use of remote conferencing, working at home, and the almost universal adoption of Zoom and Microsoft Teams, solutions are needed for the stable transfer of audio/video signals over a USB pipeline. The AC-EXUSB-2-KIT is the ideal distance connection for web cameras, interactive display/smartboards, keyboards/mice, or other USB devices.
