SEMINOLE, Fla. — May 29, 2024 — Just Add Power, a leader in AV-over-IP distribution, today announced that its 3G Ultra 508POE receiver and 3G Ultra 707POE transmitter have received approval from the Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance (HETMA). The HETMA Approved Program takes products submitted by manufacturers and places them in real-world environments across its membership demographic. This certifies that the products meet the quality and service standards set by HETMA and that they fit in the higher education environment.

The Just Add Power 3G Ultra 508POE receives and processes a 4K or lower-resolution source from a Just Add Power transmitter and distributes video to the designated display. It features the ability to display content with HDCP 2.2 copy/content protection on any HDMI screen in the system; image pop with the ability to display a custom logo or message as an overlay on any active screen; image push, which pushes a custom default image or logo at times when no source is displayed on-screen; and image pull, which will preview an image from any source or display in any web browser or control system in up to 10 fps.
The Just Add Power 3G Ultra 707POE transmitter distributes 4K video and lossless audio over a single Cat 5e cable to every zone, encoding a 4K or lower-resolution source device into an IP signal and sending it over the network with ultralow latency and instant switching. Additionally, it supports all lossless audio formats, including Dolby Atmos.
Both products feature integrated endpoint control that can manage endpoints with RS-232, IR, and CEC. All Just Add Power products boast scalability and full compatibility with other products in the company’s 3G Ultra and 2G Omega lineup.
