Auralex SubDude Severs Floor-Sound Connection
Sep 5, 2006 12:00 PM
Sound control company Auralex Acoustics will launch the SubDude platform at CEDIA in Denver. The economical treatment is made of MDF and structural acoustical foam that’s said to float a speaker or subwoofer and provide rigidity and stability. The SubDude platform severs the mechanical connection with the room floor, isolating the sound and preventing sound from passing from the speakers and subwoofers through the floor. The foam was designed to support up to 200 pounds.
