Sonos will have to continue its ambitious restructuring efforts without a permanent Chief Marketing Officer, as the company has announced that Jordan Saxemard has left the company. News of Sazemard’s departure was announced to employees during an internal call last week. Sazemard had the unfortunate timing of joining Sonos in May 2024, the same month the company’s app relaunch started a chain reaction that resulted in frustrated users, a PR nightmare, and the CEO’s resignation.
New information surfaces about Sonos’ upcoming TV streaming box
“Sonos head of marketing Jordan Saxemard has departed Sonos effective immediately,” Sonos spokesperson Erin Pategas told The Verge. “We thank him for his contributions to the company. Lindsay Whitworth, Vice President of Global Consumer Direct will lead the marketing team in the interim. A search for a new marketing leader is underway.”
According to The Verge, employees are encouraged by the interim appointment of Sonos veteran Whitworth, citing her familiarity with the company’s culture.
