Auto manufacturer Mini has revealed a personal assistant for their future cars that aims to be more personable than Siri or Alexa.
Spike is modeled after an English Bulldog, and, according to Mini, was designed to foster an emotional connection with the driver. While his specific functions haven’t been revealed, he is said to “guide you through the operating concept of the future Mini model family.”

In the new Mini Concept Aceman, Spike will be showing up to be the car’s personal assistant by appearing on the vehicle’s central OLED display and dashboard.
According to Mini’s release, “The launch of the brand’s new model family strengthens the vehicle’s connection with drivers’ individual lifestyles. This emotional connection between person and automobile is invigorated by a digital character that Spike embodies in his very own personable way.”
