An event that draws nearly 35,000 attendees year after year, NSCA University at InfoComm provides unparalleled educational opportunities to those attending sessions at the trade show. Proposals are being accepted for the pre-conference, June 7-8, as well as throughout the regular session, June 9-11. Instructors are encouraged to focus their proposals on topics that include new technologies, sales and marketing techniques and strategies, and system design and installation.
Attendees include technicians, installers, sales and marketing professionals, and business owners and managers looking to expand their knowledge, obtain new skills to enhance their current positions, and advance their companies. NSCA U offers courses in six colleges: Allied Professionals, Business, Project Management, System Design, System Sales, and Technical Knowledge. All proposals for seminars or workshops must pertain to beneficial practices for businesses in the systems integration industry.
Submissions must include the following:
- The subject matter must have a technical, business or sales related focus.
- Programs must be generic in focus, not focused on a specific product or service.
- Programs that are 90 minutes, 2 hours, 4 hours (during Expo, June 9-11) and 8 hours (one day) or 16 hours (two days) in length (during pre-Expo, June 7-8) will be considered. Shorter or longer programs will not be considered.
- Programs must be targeted toward typical low-voltage electronic systems technicians, installers, and/or designers (for technical courses) and low-voltage supervisors, managers, and owners (for business and sales related courses).
- Programs that teach practical skills and troubleshooting that can be transferred and applied in various situations in the field are highly desirable.
