The Vidikron Vision Model 150 projector is based on a new Texas Instruments three-chip DLP light engine and a xenon 1.2kW LightAmp system. Native resolution of the projector is 1920x1080p. The Model 150 received THX video display certification and is said to meet ISF calibration standards for video performance. The Model 150 incorporates Vidikron’s V2 Aperture Control technology, which is said to deliver enhanced contrast ratio and wide dynamic range. The Vision Model 150 is available with four optics options, with each zoom lens featuring motorized horizontal and vertical lens shift capability, power zoom, and power focus. In addition, the 150 offers Vidikron’s CineWide and CineWide with AutoScope options, which fill the vertical height of the screen for a true 2.35:1 widescreen movie experience, utilizing every pixel of resolution and eliminating distracting black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.
