Blu-ray Disc Player Delivers Movie Realism

Samsung's BD-P1000 Blu-ray disc player runs content in 720p, 1080i, and 1080p resolution. Standard DVDs are upconverted to match the resolution of the display. Outputs include HDMI, component video, S-Video, and composite on the video side and stereo, optical, coaxial, and 5.1-channel outputs for audio. Video decoding handles MPEG2, VC-1, H.264, and HD JPEG. Audio decoders include Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS, and MP3. An 11-in-1 multiple memory card slot reads all the major memory cards for playback of digital images on TV.
