At 51in. wide, the Polk Audio SurroundBar 50 loudspeaker is designed to match the width of 50in. LCD and plasma TVs. Packing Polk’s SDA technology, the single enclosure delivers surround sound without the need for rear loudspeakers. Inside the aluminum housing are nine mid/bass drivers, three dome tweeters, and a PC-based crossover stuffed with more than 60 components.
The soundbar can be mounted above or below the TV with supplied shelf cradles, which enable installers to point the loudspeaker up or down toward the sweet spot. Finishes include titanium or anodized black.
A 15ft. speaker cable is included, and the five pairs of rear-panel binding posts are color coded for easy setup.
