Shower Speakers Integrate Marine-grade Technology

Polk Audio has retooled its marine-grade speaker technology for a line of shower speakers designed to be used in Kohler’s DTV II digital hydrotherapy system for the bath. The Kohler system comprises a digital valve and interface as well as a media module that allows users to control music, LED lighting, and steam and spray functions from a panel located outside the shower. Kohler’s 4in.x4in. SoundTile speakers were designed to match aesthetically with Kohler’s bodysprays and showerheads. The speakers’ stainless-steel front grill is designed to keep water away from the speaker area without degrading sound quality. The speakers are available in a variety of designs that match Kohler finishes.
