The Leviton IP Quad Module enables homeowners to view high-quality color output from a Leviton Video Monitoring System on any TV in the home or via a PC and Internet connection. The system includes both indoor and outdoor cameras that connect via a Leviton Structured Media Center to offer homeowners a cost-effective solution for monitoring property inside and outside of the home.
The system operates over Cat5e UTP cables, which interconnect with a camera hub inside the SMC. The hub provides power to up to four cameras and sends composite video from the cameras to the IP/Quad module and/or video modulators. A separate power supply is provided for the outdoor camera for long-run applications where cable runs exceed 328ft., enabling installers to power cameras at entrance gates and other structures that are located a long distance from the structured media center.
