The Gefen HDMI Cat-5 MS Extreme extends the range of HDTV delivery over two Category 5 cables, providing a cost-effective and reliable method of HDMI signal extension. The unit delivers HD resolution of 1080i up to 300ft. and 1080p up to 150ft., a 100ft. increase over Gefen’s HDMI Cat-5 Extreme. The MS Extreme has been engineered to withstand Cat-5 skew variations and extraneous equipment noise, the company says. HDMI audio and video are delivered to the extended receiver, enabling the remote display to function as if connected locally.
