Canton has introduced the Vento Reference 9 DC, a compact loudspeaker in the company’s flagship Vento line. Designed for use as a monitor or a left-, center-, or right-channel loudspeaker in a surround sound system, the Reference 9 DC features a two-way design employing the company’s ADT-25 aluminum and manganese 1in. dome tweeter and 7in. aluminum cone woofer.
Nominal power handling is 120W, and SPL is given as 87dB at 1W per meter. Frequency response is 53Hz to 26.5kHz +/-3dB.
The cabinet structure of the Reference 9 DC includes six layers of acoustically inert fiberboard pressure-laminated together into a rigid enclosure.
The loudspeaker is available in are silver and black piano lacquer finishes, and stands are optional.
