Newcomer SmX Cinema Solutions has introduced a line of audio-transparent screens that’s said to deliver exceptional image quality along with audio passthrough—all without distortion. According to SmX, CineWeave provides clear, uniformly bright and vibrant images, pure color accuracy, and increased contrast and sharpness.
The woven CineWeave HD screen, which offers high-reflective gain of 1.16, is said to provide acoustic transparency that requires no screen equalization and 160-degree viewing angles with no hot spots. The company says the woven screen design creates a video experience that’s free of reflective artifacts such as “sparklies” or moiré patterns.
