The LC-52D62U 52in. LCD TV is the largest screen size manufactured at the company’s eighth-generation LCD plant in Kameyama, Japan. The LC-52D62U has built-in ATSC, QAM, and NTSC tuners and native resolution of 1920 x 1080p. Sharp’s Advanced Super View/Black TFT panel is said to reduce colorshift and improve contrast ratio, which is given as 2000:1. Pixel response time is rated as 4ms, offering a significant motion performance boost during fast-moving scenes. The four-wavelength backlight system improves reds, making them deeper and more vivid than previous systems. Design features include a piano black cabinet and bottom-mounted speakers.
