Optimized Color with Samsung 53/54 Series LCDs

Touting design and technology, Samsung’s 53 and 54 series of LCD TVs are available in piano black or pearl white finishes. The piano-black Model 53 series is available in 19in., 23in., 26in., 32in., and 40in. screen sizes, and the pearl-white versions are available in 19in. and 23in. screen sizes. Both series feature a Game Mode that’s said to optimize image quality, sound and response time for fast-motion video game play. Viewing angle of the 32in. and 40in. models is 178 degrees, and the built-in swivel stand enables users to position the TV to various viewing positions. Dynamic contrast ratio is 8,000:1. Samsung’s wide color mapping algorithm optimizes a color’s hue to match the NTSC standard for more natural color reproduction. Inputs include three HDMI-CEC jacks and a USB 2.0 connector.
