Built-in AI Ensures Visual Clarity in Proton LCDs

Proton is returning to the North American market with a two-SKU line of big-screen LCD TVs. The Purity LCD TVs, available in 42in. and 47in. screen sizes, feature contrast ratio of 1200:1, high brightness, and a 6.5ms response time. Resolution of the 47in. display is 1080p. Video enhancements include motion lagging correction, 3D color management, 3:2 pulldown, adjustable color temperature, and PIP. A built-in artificial intelligence system analyzes color frequency and intensity to ensure accurate skin tones and detail in black level. 3D interlacing and edge enhancements are said to eliminate jaggies.
