The OPPO Digital DV-970HD DVD player upconverts signals from standard DVDs to a high-definition signal, resulting in DVD video images that are clearer, smoother, and sharper when played on HD televisions and projectors. The player’s HDMI output provides a pure digital path for both video and audio signals. In addition to the upconversion feature, the player can output native 480i/576i resolution for use with high-end video processors or scalers. The player includes a four-in-one Flash memory card reader and USB interface for viewing digital pictures from memory cards or digital cameras. The DV-970HD supports DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, SACD, DVD+/-RW, and CD-R/RW formats. It’s also compatible with DivX, Xvid, CD, HDCD Kodak Picture CD, WMA, and other digital audio and video formats.
