The JVC DLA-HD1 D-ILA projector boasts a native contrast ratio of 15,000:1 thanks to an optical engine that operates without the use of an iris. The D-ILA device is said to exhibit a reduction in stray light caused by the dispersion and diffraction of reflected light. JVC engineers decreased orientation irregularities by flattening the gaps between pixels, upgrading liquid crystals and adopting new orientation technologies. Native resolution is 1920x1080p and projection size is 60in. to 200in. Lens shift function is 80-percent vertical and 34-percent horizontal. The light source is a 200W ultra-high-pressure mercury lamp with output of 700 lumens. Video terminals include two HDMI, one component that can be used as RGB, as well as S-Video and composite. An RS-232 port is included.
