Medialon Manager controls all of the room functions including a Biamp Audia system, two-rack lighting and dimmer system, video players/recorders, the matrix, and projector.

Medialon teamed with Cando, a video, lighting, sound, and multimedia company, to provide a Medialon Manager show-control system for a conference room at Belgacom. Belgacom is the leading telecommunications company in Belgium and a market leader in retail and wholesale fixed-line telephony services, mobile communications services, and broadband data and Internet services.

Medialon Manager was selected for its ability to control a 24x24 data and sound matrix, which manages an array of videotape and DVD players and recorders, and enables various signals to be displayed by a Barco RLM R6+ projector.

Medialon Manager controls all of the room functions including a Biamp Audia system, two-rack lighting and dimmer system, video players/recorders, the matrix, and a projector.

It was also necessary for Medialon Manager to be able to control eight videotape and DVD players, a projection screen, and nine PCs from four different control screens located at the speakers, table, and lectern. The system also had to be capable of transmitting the signal to two additional rooms in the building and providing images to four translation rooms.

In addition, Cando implemented a videoconference system with simultaneous transmission of video feeds and data. The room is also equipped with a voting system, a microphone system placed on every seat, and three ceiling-mounted dome cameras that automatically position at the time of the speech.

Medialon Manager easily fulfilled the client’s expectations for the installation. In fact, when a second room at Belgacom was renovated, the first equipment request was for another Medialon Manager license to facilitate its show control.
