Whitlock Group Names Director of Integration
AV integration firm the Whitlock Group has named John Bailey to the position of director of systems integration.
AV integration firm the Whitlock Group has named John Bailey to the position of director of systems integration. Company officials said Bailey had unofficially been filling the role as the Whitlock Group's director of engineering for Durham, Charlotte, and Philadelphia. He will now begin a transition to become a dedicated representative of the management team working with the Whitlock Group's national branch offices, the Global Presence Alliance (GPA) partners, and manufacturing partners to drive standards and best practices.

For more than 20 years, Bailey supervised the design, engineering, and management of high-profile projects for many prestigious clients, including Bank of America, BB&T, Cisco Systems, Delta Airlines, Duke University, Ericsson, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM, Lockheed Martin, Nortel Networks, Quintiles, U.S. Federal Reserve, WorldCom, and the University of North Carolina. He also has received accreditation as a Certified Technical Specialist-Design (CTS-D) and Certified Technical Specialist–Install" (CTS-I) from InfoComm International. Bailey actively participates with InfoComm in various capacities, most recently as a member of the Project Commissioning Working Group, an organization that was formed to develop technology performance standards for the audiovisual industry.
