Aurora Multimedia has introduced its new ASP-44 4x4 HDMI matrix and Mini-Wall 15.6-inch videowall LCD tiles.

The ASP-44 simultaneously routes HD video sources and multichannel digital audio (up to 7.1-channel audio) from any of the four HDMI inputs to any of the four HDMI outputs, according to the company. Well-suited for commercial, residential, education, and digital signage applications, the matrix is the latest addition to Aurora Multimedia's expanding Aspyre series.
Other features of the ASP-44 include HDMI 1.3c compliance, HDCP compliance, default HDMI EDID, the ability to allow any HDMI display to view any HDMI source, RS-232 and IR control, Ethernet control with optional WACI nugget, front-panel control, and mounting ears for the 1RU chassis.
The new Mini-Wall (MW-156) LCD tiles are the latest additions to the existing DIDO real-time rotation videowall processors. The 15.6-inch tiles allow a videowall to fit almost anywhere, says the company, and include a processor and media playback engine built into each unit. As of now, up to 32 15.6-inch MW-156 panels can be used together to create a variety of patterns. The integrated media engine can play back HD content and has enough memory to store hours of content.
