Switcher Lines: AMX AutoPatch fiber-optic switcher

AMX expanded its AutoPatch fiber-optic switcher line by adding the HD-SDI input and output boards. The new boards support both high-definition and standard definition serial digital interface equipment, a new feature for the Epica Digital Generation product line. The HD-SDI boards allow users to convert HD-SDI, DVI, and RGBHV secure video signals within the matrix switcher, which can then be routed to any combination of display outputs, without the need of an external video conversion box. The new boards operate at SMTPE 292M, 259M, and 344M frame rates and clocking speeds to all output signals. Each also includes 16 BNC connections and is compatible and customizable with the Epica DG enclosure.
