In-Wall Camera: Vaddio Reveal

Vaddio is putting an architectural spin on pan/tilt/zoom cameras. Its Reveal In-Wall cameras are the first from the company designed to blend into the wall of a videoconferencing or presentation room.

Vaddio is putting an architectural spin on pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras. Its new Reveal In-Wall cameras are the company’s first that are designed to blend into the wall of a videoconferencing or presentation environment. The camera is recessed in a camera box that reaches the full depth of the wall cavity, and is housed behind either clear or electro-chromatic glass. The electro-chromatic glass turns opaque, muting the video when the camera is turned off or upon receiving an RS-232 command. The Reveal In-Wall systems come in three options: HD-18 Short Range, HD-18 CCU, or HD-18 DVI/HDMI. All are built around the ClearVIEW HD-18 high-definition PTZ camera with its 1/3-inch, 1.3 megapixel CCD imaging sensor, wide dynamic zoom lens (18x optical), tally light, and 1.8-lux rating.800-572-2011. www.vaddio.com.
