Biamp and InfoComm Partner for Education

Biamp Systems is partnering with InfoComm International on two programs to populate the AV contracting community with well-suited, well-trained, well-informed integration professionals.

Biamp is supporting InfoComm's new AV CareerCorps Program, designed to educate job-seekers about AV career opportunities, identify people who want to work in the AV industry, and provide them with a basic level of training from which to build. Participating members of the CareerCorps were taught the interpersonal and technical skills required in the AV industry. After the training was complete, eight industry leaders interviewed the participants for positions in their companies.

Biamp is also a sponsor of the InfoComm Academy AV Advanced Design Course training program in Johannesburg, South Africa, which provides technology and best practices training in new and emerging technologies and techniques. The course comprises three three-day modules: Co-producer EMS Africa hosted the first module in October, will host the second module in March, and will host the final module in May 2008.
