The devices scan convert computer graphics and video signals with resolutions up to UXGA (1600 x 1200) to NTSC or PAL signals (selectable via dip switches) in composite video or S-Video (Y/C) formats. The VP-504xl also scan converts HDTV signals with resolutions of 480p, 576p, 720p, and 1080i in either the RGB or component video color space (Y, Pb, Pr/YUV). Both models have a button that automatically adjusts the phase, frequency, and position of the image so that it will be aligned properly on screen.
