Crestron has expanded the Experience Center at its Rockleigh, N.J., world headquarters to include an interactive room dedicated to demonstrating the company's hospitality technology solutions. The facility opened in October 2009 and, according to Crestron, has proven to be a destination for integrators, architects, and designers to introduce clients to Crestron, collaborate with system designers, and experience Crestron innovations in functioning application environments.
The company expanded the Experience Center to include a separate, functioning hospitality suite showcasing its room automation solutions for hotels, resorts, and casinos. The hospitality environment is designed to demonstrate and educate integrators and hoteliers on the latest Crestron hotel room automation and control technology, according to the company.
The interactive suite allows dealers and prospective customers to operate and experience Creston Welcome, Crestron Dominion, and Crestron Habitat technology solutions that completely automate hotel rooms from standard and deluxe rooms to luxury suites.
According to the company, all room systems are integrated and operate just as they would in a hotel environment, allowing guests to use Crestron keypads and touch panels to experience the options available for wireless lighting and climate control, demonstrating how vacancy sensors can be used to save energy and reduce costs, and controlling room entertainment, including audio and video distribution systems.
