The SIR Infrared Simultaneous Interpretation System from beyerdynamic wirelessly transmits multiple channels of audio for interpretation and assisted-listening purposes. With a transmission output of 20 watts, the system is suitable for use in large rooms. It is comprised of four integrated components: the SIR 800 Compact Transmitter, SIR 801 Infrared Radiator, SIR 320 Receiver, and the SIR C 50 Charging and Transport Case.

With a transmission output of 20 watts, the system is suitable for use in large rooms. It is comprised of four integrated components: the SIR 800 Compact Transmitter, SIR 801 Infrared Radiator, SIR 320 Receiver, and the SIR C 50 Charging and Transport Case. The transmitter converts audio signals into frequency-modulated infrared light, which along with the radiator, can transmit the original language and a maximum of seven target languages on different carrier frequencies. These transmissions are received by the SIR 320 receiver and then can be monitored with headphones. The front panel of the SIR 800 allows for frequency-band selection and the assignment of up to 32 transmission channels. LEDs indicate the operation mode: channel ON (red) and audio signal available (green) and the status of the appropriate interpreter channel. Price: N/A.
