Barco designed its new MatrixPRO-II line of routers specifically for the events market. The MatrixPRO-II 3G-SDI line is offered in three models, 8x8, 16x16, and 32x32. It comes in a power-efficient package that measures a slim 2.2 inches deep. All three models support 3G/HD/SD-SDI digital signals at bit rates of 19.4 Mbps to 3 Gbps. Reclockers comes standard, and all three can be controlled from the front panel via Ethernet, or using RS-232. Meanwhile, the MatrixPRO-II analog series comes in 12x8, 16x16, and 32x32 with an audio option. The 12x8 and 16x16 models are also offered with an optional cable equalization feature. Barco says the MatrixPRO-II series features bandwidth greater than 600 MHz at -3dB, with +/- 1.0dB flatness to 300 MHz.
