FOR-A, a manufacturer of video and audio systems for the broadcast and video production industry, announced HVS-300HS HD/SD Portable Video Switcher can be integrated into Crestron-controlled AV systems with a new software control module. The free software module will be available for download at Crestron's website within the next 30 days for Crestron dealers, partners, and customers with a Crestron account.

"Customers with conference rooms or multimedia systems that utilize a Creston controller can now easily integrate the HVS-300HS switcher into their workflow," said Mr. Hiro Tanoue, president and CEO of FOR-A Corp. of America, un a statement. "It makes the programming a lot easier, especially compared to someone having to write a control module from scratch on site."
"It will be easier for dealers, programmers, and installers to integrate this particular device into a system that is controlled by Crestron," said Dominick Accurso, Creston Integrated Partner Program manager, in a statement. "Especially for an intricate device like the HVS-300HS, it's very helpful."
Crestron welcomed FOR-A as an integrated partner late last year. This is the first cooperative effort between the two companies.
