Multiformat Routing: Sierra Video Ponderosa

The Ponderosa family of multiformat routing switchers from Sierra Video, a subsidiary of Kramer Electronics, includes several new features. The HD-SDI/SDI video routing switchers, characterized by their fully modular design, now offer I/O sizes up to 128x128, digital-to-analog conversion boards, and analog and digital audio options, features used in broadcast, production, and post-production applications.

The multiformat video boards can pass standard serial digital video signals, including SMPTE 310, SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 344M, and DVB-ASI as well as HD serial digital video signals conforming to SMPTE 292M.
