Canon U.S.A.’s LV-7590 multimedia projector has a new color-control feature that adds yellow to an LCD projector’s traditional red, green, and blue color panels and independently controls the quantity of yellow light it produces. The new model also has automatic gamma adjustment, which monitors average brightness on a frame-by-frame basis and adjusts gamma levels for a greater emphasis of black tones. The $8,999 LV-7590 is a native XGA-resolution projector capable of 7,000 lumens and a 1,800:1 contract ratio. It includes a 5BNC terminal and a high-speed DVI-D interface, plus component, composite, and S-Video inputs. It displays content in either 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios. 516-328-5000. www.usa.canon.com.
