The single-chip DLP projector is capable of 2560x1600 resolution, 8,000:1 contrast ratio, and 6,500 lumens. It's ideal for theater-style settings when alternating between 1.78:1 and 2.35:1 content.

For applications that need fine, detailed imagery, such as visualization, simulation, scientific and medical research, oil exploration, and command and control, Digital Projection (DPI) has come out with the dVision 35-WQXGA. The single-chip DLP projector is capable of 2560x1600 resolution, 8,000:1 contrast ratio, and 6,500 ANSI lumens. DPI says the new projector is also ideal for theater-style settings when alternating between 1.78:1 and 2.35:1 aspect-ratio content because it doesn’t require an anamorphic lens. When projecting 1.78:1 content, it simply operates in 1080p mode; for 2:35:1 content, it scales the image to 2538x1080 pixels. Digital Projection. 770-420-1350. digitalprojection.com.
