The Titan's CoolTek engineering delivers the highest lumen performance at the lowest thermal (BTU) and noise-level (dB) output offered by the company in a recyclable chassis. Thermal management allows for more efficient cooling, which in turn lessens fan operation and power consumption, the company says. Additionally, the chassis structure and product skin are both manufactured from aluminum instead of a plastic molding, making them fully recyclable.

Model number: Lightning 45 WUXGA-3D
Price: $119,995
Technology: 3-chip DLP
Brightness: 30,000 lumens
Contrast ratio: 2,000:1
Aspect ratio: 16:10
Lamp Technology: Xenon
Estimated lamp life: 750 hours
Power consumption: 4,600W
Green certification(s): RoHS compliant

DPI's Lightning 45 WUXGA 3D is among the brightest projectors the company offers. Its CoolTek optical design and illumination technologies produce 30,000 lumens from a 3,600-watt Xenon lamp. Its total chassis power consumption is 4,600 watts, compared to other 30,000-lumen digital projectors that employ 6,000 or 7,000 watt lamps and consume up to 8,400 watts, according to the company. Like the Titan, the chassis and skin are made from aluminum.
