Mitsubishi Digital Electronics has a trio of 3D-ready projectors—the EX240U (XGA), the EW270U (WXGA), and the EW230U-ST (WXGA short-throw)—that use DLP Link technology to display 3D content. Each combines a six-segment color wheel (red, blue, green, white, yellow, and cyan) and Texas Instruments’ DLP with BrilliantColor to improve color accuracy and performance. The 5.3-pound WXGA models emit 2,600 and 2,500 lumens, respectively, and claim a 4,000-hour lamp life when operated in low mode. Each provides HDMI and RJ-45 ports, as well as integrated Crestron RoomView support for plug-and-play connectivity, and reportedly consumes less than 1 watt of power when in low stand-by mode.
