Draper is debuting a new modular projection screen for the AV rental market called the FocalPoint. The FocalPoint is designed for smaller venues than its StageScreen predecessor, including breakout and meeting rooms and other places where quick setup is necessary. The modular frame segments are made of sturdy, lightweight extruded aluminum. All available sizes of FocalPoint are built from combinations of the same segments in short, easy-to-assemble lengths and no hinges. Draper’s DuraLoop bungees and nylon pull-tabs create a flat self-centering viewing surface that attaches with no snaps. In addition, a black border extends past the edge of the frame, neatly hiding the DuraLoops and frame posts. Draper says the FocalPoint can also be flown or used for a custom size screen.
