Digital Projection said it's responding to a need for low latency in real-time video applications with the release of two processors: the Fusion MD and Fusion 3D. Each is designed to work one-for-one with a projector to handle warp, blend, and other functions. The Fusion MD works with sources up to WUXGA (1920x1200) at 60 Hz and outputs to projectors with up to WUXGA. There's no scaling, so source input should match the projector's native resolution. The Fusion 3D provides warp and blend for sources up to WQXGA (2560x1600) at 60 Hz and outputs to projectors up to WQXGA. It can also handle near-zero latency warp and blend for sources up to WUXGA at 120 Hz, making it ideal for very high-resolution 3D applications. Both work with FusionNet, DP's new network control application. Price: Contact vendor. Digital Projection. 770-420-1350. www.digitalprojection.com.
