Sony's new HD videoconferencing solution is the PCS-XG55. Delivering up to 720p/60 resolution, the system is designed to offer flexible, high-quality visual communications to corporate, education, health care, and government applications. The PCS-XG55 includes the PCS-XG55S HD codec, PCSA-CXG80 HD camera, PCS-A1 microphone, and PCS-RF1 RF remote commander. Using BrightFace camera technology and a new real-time adaptive contrast optimization technology, the system provides smooth video motion and high contrast, according to Sony.
