RapcoHorizon is rolling out the 2EZ SVGA cable, the second generation of EZ coax cable. The new cables require no soldering in the field—so installation can be quick, according to the company—and can be routed through walls, conduits, and ceiling without concern for connector damage. Equipped with a CMP jacket for installs that involve plenum environments, it has a rugged XLR that provides improved strain relief at 360 degrees to resist damage with a 50-pound pull force over the original EZ-Pull din connector. The 2EZ is also rated SVGA at 200 feet, XGA at 150 feet, and XSGA at 100 feet resolution. Higher resolutions are available at 50 feet. Price: Contact vendor.
