ITC (Instant Tool-less Connector) announces its new series of nickel-plated connectors as a complement to its gold-plated series and an alternative to soldering or compression systems. The connectors do not require a tool for termination, therefore, according to the company, their use reduces costs, termination time, complexity, and failure rate. Each one features a captive center pin that grips the center conductor with a spring tension system for a secure fit, contact, and conductivity. The models in the series, which includes F, BNC, and RCA connectors, are also reusable and configured for 18-, 20-, and 24-gauge coax cables. Price: $0.60 to $1.60 each.
