Among ViewSonic's latest releases for digital signage applications is the CD4230 commercial LCD monitor. At 13.77 millimeters, the 42-inch display has an ultra-thin bezel. According to the company, the monitor's 500 nits of brightness and 1,500:1 contrast ratio make it suitable for outdoor use. The CD4230 is RS-232 daisy-chained capable, includes DVI and VGA ports, and facilitates DDC/CI communication between a PC and monitor for management, diagnostics, and remote control.
