Atlantic Technology’s new 1400 SR-z dipole/bipole selectable surround loudspeaker was designed with height-speaker channel applications in mind, the company says. A shallow profi le allows the speaker to be mounted high on the wall above the system’s front speakers, making it well suited for use in home theater systems that use the Dolby ProLogic IIz sound format. With a frequency response of 110 Hz to 20 kHz +/-3 dB, the 1400 SR-z uses a pair of full-range polymer-treated cone drivers to deliver a surround-sound fi eld.
