Sony's Digital Wireless System combines a DWT-B01 bodypack transmitter with a DWR-S01D digital wireless receiver. Designed for use with Sony XDCAM camcorders, the system offers sound-gathering for TV producers, the company says. A new codec chip allows both units to deliver 24-bit/48 kHz digital wireless audio transmission quality.
