Plasma HDTVs: LG Infinia PK750 and PK950
At CES, LG reaffirmed its commitment to plasma technology with eight new HDTVs, including two Infinia models.

At CES, LG reaffirmed its commitment to plasma technology with eight new HDTVs, including two Infinia models. According to the company, the new models are only around 2 inches deep-about 37 percent thinner than previous models-and weigh as much as 40 percent less than previous models. The Infinia PK750 and PK950 boast THX Display certification, 600-Hz Sub-Field driving, Dual XD engine, and a TruBlack filter. A Protective Skin Glass system is said to reduce the gap between the outer glass and filter by 70 percent, reducing double imaging and glare. The Infinia models also include a connectivity package with NetCast Entertainment Access to such applications as Skype, Netflix, YouTube, and Napster. Price: Contact vendor.
