Sony is expanding its series of HD, pan-tilt-zoom cameras with the BRC-Z700. The new camera is designed to display images onto large screens, such as those found in houses of worship or auditoriums. It can also be used for distance learning applications or presentations. The BRC-Z700 features three ΒΌ-inch ClearVid CMOS sensors, a 20x optical zoom with image stabilization, and a quiet pan/tilt mechanism; the pan range is -170 degrees to +170 degrees, and the tilt range is -30 degrees to +90 degrees.
