Zaxcom introduces the Fusion, a high-resolution audio mixer and recorder for surround recording and electroneurograph (ENG) applications. Fusion maintains its light weight and power efficiency by eliminating the hard drive. Instead, the system simultaneously records onto two CompactFlash cards for redundancy and fl exibility. An integrated, lockable touch-screen interface provides quick access to all of the system’s mixing and recording functions. Users can adjust over 300 mixer crosspoints and 200 controllable parameters, while four balanced AES inputs allow eight channels of audio to come from four different devices with varying sample rates.
