Mojave Audio's new MA-201fet is a cardioid condenser microphone made to record vocals, dialog, acoustic instruments, drums, and bass amps. According to the company, the microphone provides full-bodied reproductions of vocals and instruments without the shrillness and high-frequency artifacts often encountered with modern condenser mics. With its solid-state, large diaphragm and 3-micron-thick, 1-inch-diameter gold sputtered capsule, the MA-201fet has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz +/- 3.0 dB and a sensitivity rating of -39 dB.
